Thorne's Confectionery are based in Heckmondwike in West Yorkshire and have a single mission, to produce the finest sugar-free sweets in the world. The company's distinctive logo features a mascot called Spot, with the silhouette of a girl telling the little dog: "It's too good for you, Spot."
A long list of sugar-free candies make Thorne's a familiar treat for diabetics, as well as for anyone on a calorie-controlled or carb-controlled diet for health reasons, or for general physical fitness. Some products, e.g. Thorne's sugar-free butterdrops, are also gluten-free, and this makes them suitable for an even longer list of dietary needs.
Thorne's specialise in sugar-free versions of classic candies and boiled sweets like mints, chocolate limes, toffees, rhubarb and custard, pear drops, aniseed drops, sherbet lemons and barley sugars.
