Jakemans
Jakemans have helped generations of Brits to breathe more easily. The menthol-based confectionery was first produced in Boston, Lincolnshire in 1907, and the company is still located in the town.
No artificial colours or flavours are used in the manufacture of Jakemans, which are suitable for vegetarians. The entire product line also meets the Codex Alimentarius standard for gluten-free foods, although there is no 'gluten-free' claim made on the packaging of wholesale Jakemans lozenges.
The original Jakemans 'Throat & Chest' sweets are individually wrapped and contain natural flavours including menthol, eucalyptus oil and aniseed oil, along with sugar, glucose syrup and some natural colours and flavours..
